i used to write okay but then the internet said NO and it took my brain and ran it through a cheese grater. Now, I can't type a single sentence without my brain starting hurt badly. Is word okay? Ouch

This post is a perfect illustration of what the internet has done to the minds of today's youth. At the click of a mouse they can see pictures of cats and watermelons. The pictures even come with explanatory captions shooped right in. And the very ease with which this information is accessible has softened people's minds so much, that their natural critical faculties have completely atrophied. They have learned to take everything at face value, because that's what's easy.
The picture says that the cat is pushing the watermelon out of the lake, so that's what people believe. It's a sad commentary on the state of the modern noosphere, that I have to point out what would be obvious to anyone whose brain had remained sharp.
That is not a cat pushing a watermelon out of a lake.
That is a watermelon drowning a cat.

perhaps the lake is simply eating the cat and the watermelon.

I regret the day that mods at Spiderweb forums were no longer allowed to yell at posters for poor grammar and spelling. The decline in standards in order to have more civility is contributing to the downfall of civilization as we once knew it.
I miss Delicious Vlish using his feisty tentacle slap of pain to bring a modicum understanding to the posters we have today.
Next thing you know we will all be forced to keep are responses under 140 characters and have to use text abbreviations.
