Abyss is by Wild Karrde Smuggler.
Rubies are red,
Sapphires are blue,
But there's not a gem
That's as precious as you.

Atmospheric, moved me emotionally and got my adrenalin flowing - even if so short for the Shark contest. 4.

What, really?

This scenario is, wait for it... Abyssmal.

*cue groans*

Definitely not worth putting together the pre-made party for. Or playing it at all, for that matter. 2.0

Could have been good if the idea was fleshed out for a real scenario rather then a shark. The premade party wasn't strong enough to defeat the monster (at least with my playing abilities).

Fun, I guess - but short

Went through it again. I was able to defeat the Mutant Giant with one trip to the Character Editor with the 1-PC party. When I did it on "monsters much weaker", I could do it with no trips to the char editor.

A cut (a small cut) above Minimalism. This scenario features tremendous writing... for a dialog box or two. And then the monster that the pre-fab party can't beat.

I give it a 2.5: this didn't hurt me, but it did little else, either.

3.0

Not enough scenario to rate as anything higher than a three.

3.8

The story of this scenario awakened my interest, but it didn't have time to give very much.

Having to make a "premade" party for a scenario this short is a bit too much, and the fact that the monster was almost invincible is not good for it, either.

However, it did manage to create some suspension, an original story and a nice ending.

Difficult to rate because it's so short, but I think 3.8 is right.

(Note: my score would be about two times higher without the premade party requirement+broken savefile and difficult battle.)

2.5

Um, there's some dialogue. And then you beat (or get beaten up by) a giant.

The end.

Eh, it's short, but sweet, with a fight with a Giant at the End. In a way Kill Ogre, Win Nothing with a little more text.
