The Dark Side of the Moon is the fifth scenario by SM Adventurer.

Rubies are red,
Sapphires are blue,
But there's not a gem
That's as precious as you.

Three months, no reviews?

I've played this scenario in beta (but never got around to sending in the report, sorry SM. sad.gif ) The only reason I'm rating it without playing the released version is because after three whole months, it still hasn't been rated by anyone. Looking through the editor, it looks pretty much the same, so I'll rate it on what I've seen, with a plus .5 bonus for not having actually played the release. (Well, I've played some of it but gave up.)

Anyway, the plot is reasonably interesting, although the "dark ones" seemed like just average evil. The combat was just standard Exile combat, but hey, it's BoE. However, there are some serious logic errors - in the main fort, you need to find four pieces of treasure to enter, all of which are scattered across the land. Seriously, how do the Dark Ones enter their own fort on a regular basis. And the sci-fi twist at the end was too abrupt. Characters could have used a bit more dialogue, and there's still a few bugs here and there.

6.5, plus .5, so 7.0 will be my score.

Enjoyable Exile-themed adventure. Some surprises. Hope designer makes another! Befriended undead was not there when returned to get info, but this does not affect the plot. 7.
